good luck finding a wide room cheap, you’re going to make a sacrifice with the room. either you pay more for a larger room or you give up the space for your budget.

If you dont mind staying away from the busy downtown core, Silvermine Bay Hotel located in Silvermine of the Lantau Island is one of the cheapest in HK with daily rates under US$50 per night. I dont think there’s any road to get there from the airport which is also situated in the Lantau. The most feasible transportation is to take the ferry from the Central Pier, 5 minutes walk from the MTR Airport Express Train station located in IFC Building in Central District. The ferry should take approx 20 – 25 mins to get to Silvermine Bay. The area is quite quiet facing a small beach with no major shoppings nor restaurants nearby. But if you’re more in favour of HK’s night life and the crowd, then you may find it quite boring. Check http://www.DiscoverHongKong.com and enjoy! You could also go direct to Cathay Pacific’s http://www.CXholidays.com and book the package there which includes airfares and hotels. Have a wonderful stay!
